However, I was glad that we went there. I love the food! And, no GST & service charge!!
The Fiancé's pretty cup of mocha.
Truffled Parmesan Fries to share. Crisp and nicely seasoned, not too salty.
My Prawn Risotto. The prawns were quite big and tender. I expected a measly three but there was more than enough! I like it, but the rice should be softer.
Fiancé and Yvonne ordered the Juicy Lucy's Lamb Burger. The patty was juicy and THICK. It was 200g, around an inch thick. Really worth the money. You can change the side of fries to salad.

Although we were very full after lunch, we couldn't miss the chance of dessert at Wimbly Lu. It was crowded and we waited for about 5mins for a table.
Molten Lava Cake. It's very thick yet not too sweet and jelat. I'm not a chocolate lover, especially thick and chocolatey stuff, but surprisingly I could eat more than 3 mouths of it. Portion was a little small but okay for us since we were full.
Chocolate Creme Brulee. This I love, even the thin chocolate! But the portion is really small.

New favourite haunt - Chicken Up!
We've been there twice so far. On our first visit, we had just 4 Soya Chicken Wings, Truffle Fries and Pineapple Soju, since we weren't hungry. Damn, they were good! Easily one of the best chicken wings I've ever had. It looks dry on the outside, but it was very juicy and tender beneath the crispy skin. The juice actually burst out when we bit into it.
The truffle fries was a major failure. Please don't waste your money and calories on this. Truffle taste was almost zero, and they used thick fries which didn't help at all.
Their pineapple soju is a must try! Just nice for two pax. I expected it to be kinda sour, but it's sweet and masks the horrid soju taste. LOVE IT.
Truly enjoyable pineapple soju with my true love hahaha!
On our second visit, we brought Rachael along to celebrate her birthday. All of us paid for the ala carte buffet. There were a few things that are included - Kimchi Fried Rice, Jjimdak (chicken stew), popcorn chicken (different from KFC version) and different flavours of fried chicken. Didn't take many photos because I was too hungry haha.
Different flavours of popcorn chicken, yangnyum and soya. These are good if you like chicken with fats. The flavours are good too. The jjimdak was disappointing. Those we had in Seoul was much better. This is like a soup version, mildly spicy and the sweet potato noodles were overcooked.
The jjimdak we had in Seoul was more of gravy and with chewy thick sweet potato noodles. This is my version, first attempt at home.
Pineapple soju again!
And we tried Watermelon soju! This is also very nice, but is refreshing as well. Not as sweet as the pineapple version. The staff recommended this for four pax.
Happy Nth birthday Rachael!

After Chicken Up with Rachael, we went on to Wabar to continue our drinking session. It's been so long since we last hang out late at night and drank so much.
Used to always go to Wabar. Their menu changed a lot, they used to only sell Korean food and alcohol, but now they have Western food like sausages and pizza. Their free flow popcorn standard has dropped. It was fresh and hot before, but room temperature and soft now. Disappointed.

Saw this Annabelle doll at Shaw at NEX today, freaking creepy! Couldn't bring myself to go near it.
Shall end the post on a better note.
