Gosh. I spent $450 one night, with just that one single click.
I have never spent so much on something before. Let it be a splurge to sayang myself haha.
Any guesses what I bought?
Receiving mine in 3 days' time. Can't wait.
Went to Dear's grandma's birthday yesterday @ Kallang Leisure Park. The family suite is so damn big, able to place a buffet, a pool table and still has a large area free. With projector to flash MVs.
Yesterday also, was our first time...
♥Playing pool together;
♥Singing duet together in KBox (was kinda forced into it. My friends all know I go KTVs to watch and listen them go crazy haha.);
♥Prawning together (@ his uncle's prawn farm nearby, after the birthday celebration).
So yeap, kind of a memorable day spent.
Met up with my supper-buddy Sarah after nomming at Lot One.
And this was when she came to look for me @ Dusty.
Dear and I - toot version. LOL.
Someone commented on the pic when I uploaded in my FB, saying we both look very toot in that photo.
Well, what I can say is that you cannot expect everyone to be in tip-top condition and looking gorgeous every second. Not even the presidents or supermodels. And I think we look kinda cute together like that. I love him the way he is.
How you'd usually see us.
Met up with my sec school art teacher for lunch as well (very minimal make up here). Thank you Mrs Lau, for everything you have done for me and for listening to my woes.
Went back home after that and decided to camwhore with the Escada fragrance and LV keychain bro got me from his Indo trip.
Vivigo Wind Pink 15.5mm.
Love polka dot manicure.
How Rav looks like after climbing a flight of stairs hahahha.
EOS Jewel Brown, still one of my fav lenses.
For our 5th year anniversary, we stayed home and cooked dinner for my family haha.
5 years together, we have done many things together. Instead of coming up with something special, what about doing something 'homely' together?
So we went to buy groceries (we always do that actually), planned the dinner menu...
We're both hardcore deep-fried food lovers. So no surprise when all our dishes are deep-fried haha.
He chose to be in charge of 2 dishes - Stuffed Beancurd, and Fried Slices of Pork.
And I did the Lemon Chicken.
But hor. I screwed up his dish cuz I took the wrong slab of meat and sliced hahaha. I took his slab of pork instead of my chicken! LOL. I was happily slicing when he picked up my chicken and asked, Eh your chicken is here leh, what are you slicing???
And so, I screwed up his dish. Failure despite seasoning and more slicing hahahha. See for yourself. We needed Thai chilli sauce to make it edible. =X We're usually quite good cooks okay!
Anyhoooo, this is his next dish, which was nice. Stuffed Beancurd with last minute added wantons.
- Prepare and season the minced meat. Can add ingredients such as spring onions, water chestnut and fried garlic. I insisted on adding water chestnuts.
- Cut a hole at the side of the beancurd to create a pocket to stuff the seasoned meat.
- Then pan fry for around 10 mins. Don't deep fry as the beancurd absorbs oil easily.
MY TURN! Mine looks nicer haha! Lemon Chicken! Actually I was following a recipe I found in a recipe book but somehow got distracted and became my own way. Tikam tikam one haha.
- Slice chicken into chunks - I used thighs and breasts.
- Squeeze one lemon for the juice.
- Mix the lemon juice, pepper, salt, sugar and sesame oil into the chicken and marinate for at least 10 mins so the meat can absorb the flavourings. Must massage the chicken so it'll be more tender!
- Dip into beaten egg, dip into cornflour, then deep-fry!
Our first time frying lard HAHA. Believe it or not, lard has benefits for human body. Go research!
Love you Dearie!
